Job summary

Multi Trades Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Driver to join a well-established nationwide automotive logistics company in the Henstridge area. The role offers permanent, long-term employment with start ASAP.

Role involves roaming/tramping shifts with early starts (4:00–6:00am), loading and unloading vehicles, and nationwide vehicle collection/delivery. Salary ranges from £55,000 to £65,000 per year.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1/C+E licence required.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• No more than six licence points.
• Willing to roam/tramp and sleep in the truck.

• Working Hours - Full-time roaming/tramping position, with typical start times between 4:00am and 6:00am
• Pay Rate - £55,000-£65,000 per year
• Operating large 11-plus vehicle car transporters
• Loading, securing, transporting and unloading vehicles
• Collecting and delivering vehicles nationwide
• Permanent, long-term employment
• Start: ASAP

About You

• Minimum one year of car-transporter experience
• Full UK HGV Class 1/Category C+E licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six licence points
• Comfortable with roaming, tramping and sleeping in the truck
• High work ethic and team player
• Punctual, professional and reliable
