Job summary

Multi Trades Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 car transporter driver for permanent work in the Sunderland area. The role involves roaming/tramping with start times around 4:00am–6:00am, transporting vehicles nationwide, and handling loading and securing duties.

Must have at least one year of car-transporter experience, a UK HGV Class 1/C+E licence, CPC and Tachograph Card, and no more than six points. Immediate start available for a long-term position.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of car-transporter experience.
• Full UK HGV Class 1/Category C+E licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than six licence points.
• Roaming, tramping and sleeping in the truck are required.

About the role

• Working Hours - Full-time roaming/tramping position, with typical start times between 4:00am and 6:00am
• Pay Rate - £55,000-£65,000 per year
• Operating large 11-plus vehicle car transporters
• Loading, securing, transporting and unloading vehicles
• Collecting and delivering vehicles nationwide
• Permanent, long-term employment
• Start: ASAP

About You

• Minimum one year of car-transporter experience
