Job summary

Driver Hire Lancaster is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver based in Heysham. You will perform dock collections and general haulage deliveries across the country, with minimal handball and a focus on safe driving.

Daily vehicle checks and professional representation at delivery sites are required. Valid Class 1, CPC qualification, and Tachograph card are essential, with at least one year of Class 1 experience for insurance eligibility.

Location: Heysham Pay Rate: £17.50 - £18.50 an hour

• Nationwide travel
• Minimal handball - focus on driving, not heavy lifting (Class 1)
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
• Representing the business professionally at delivery locations

Shift Details

Monday to Friday (occasional weekends available)

0600 - 0700 Starts
