Job summary

AK Logistics Ltd is seeking an energetic HGV Class 1 Driver for UK depot-to-depot work. You will drive safely, provide customer service, and help ensure freight arrives on time.

You must hold a valid C+E Class 1 license with no more than six penalty points, a current Driver CPC, and the right to work in the UK. The role offers 45–50 hours per week, with holiday and sick pay, parental leave, and bi-weekly payroll.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E Class 1 license with no more than six penalty points.
• Driver CPC card in good standing and current.
• Right to work in the UK.
• English language sufficient for safety.
• Willing to undergo background checks.
• Willing to undergo a drug and alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 truck safely between depots.
• Provide good customer service during deliveries.
• Maintain a clean driving record and comply with safety standards.
• Work 45–50 hours per week, including occasional weekends.

HGV Class 1 Driver Carrington £34,320.00 PA - UK work permit mandatory

We are AK Logistics ltd. Established in 2017, we have built our successful business by providing an excellent middle-mile service to big brand names. As their businesses grow, so does ours. We pride ourselves on fantastic team.

We are looking for Drivers who are energetic, personable and safe. We provide the truck, but you should have a clean driving record and driving licence. Drivers will generally work from Depot to depot, but occasional extended hours and weekend hours may be necessary, especially around holidays.

Join AK Logistics ltd. as an LGV/HGV Class 1 Driver, and help us ensure freight arrives at the right place at the right time - every time.

There’s no loading or unloading required. It’s all about driving safely, providing good customer service, and working positively with other members of the team.

You must have:

• Valid C+E Class 1 license with no more than six penalty points (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements)
• Driver CPC card with no current suspension or revocation
• Right to work in the UK
• English language skills for safety
• Willing to undergo a Background Check and Drug and Alcohol test
