Job summary

AK Logistics ltd. is hiring an HGV Class 1 Driver (tramper or hybrid) to operate across trunking routes in the UK. Nights away are expected, with a focus on safe driving and customer service.

The driver will be provided with a truck and must have a valid C+E license, Driver CPC, and right to work in the UK. Background checks and drug/alcohol testing are required. We offer a generous salary range of £38,000–£41,000 per year, with additional night-out pay and a comprehensive benefits package

HGV Class 1 Driver, Tramper or Hybrid Carrington £38,000 - £41,000 PA - UK work permit mandatory

This is a Tramper/Hybrid (trunking and tramping) role, nights away is expected.

We are AK Logistics ltd. Established in 2017, we have built our successful business by providing an excellent middle-mile service to big brand names. As their businesses grow, so does ours. We pride ourselves on fantastic team. We are looking for Drivers who are energetic, personable and safe. We provide the truck, but you should have a clean driving record and driving licence. Drivers will generally work from Depot to depot, but occasional extended hours and weekend hours may be necessary, especially around holidays.

Join AK Logistics ltd. as an LGV/HGV Class 1 Driver, tramper or hybrid and help us ensure freight arrives at the right place at the right time - every time. There's no loading or unloading required. It's all about driving safely, providing good customer service, and working positively with other members of the team.

You must have:

• Valid C+E Class 1 license with no more than six penalty points (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements)
• Driver CPC card with no current suspension or revocation
• Right to work in the UK
• English language skills for safety
• Willing to undergo a Background Check and Drug and Alcohol test
