Job summary

Driving Force Recruitment is seeking HGV 1 Drivers to distribute chilled and frozen goods to supermarkets from Bridgwater. Roles are ongoing, temporary with 5 out of 7 shifts, often 00:00-04:00 or 18:00-00:00, with a guaranteed minimum of hours and 45+ hours per week.

Applicants must have 6 months LGV1 experience in the UK, Digi card and CPC, and a clean license (max 6 points). Training and assessment provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience driving LGV1 in the UK.
• Digi card and Drivers CPC Card required.
• Good communication skills and geographical knowledge.
• License must not show more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Distribute chilled/frozen produce to supermarkets.
• 1-4 drops per shift with 00:00-04:00 or 18:00-00:00 starts.
• Ad hoc work and guaranteed 45+ hours per week.
• Deliver first-class customer service to clients.

Driving Force Recruitment operating as an employment business are offering an excellent opportunity for HGV 1 Drivers to work for our award-winning client based in Bridgwater.

The job will be Distributing chilled/frozen produce to supermarkets, 1-4 drops per shift.

No Manuel work required.

Job Role -

0000-0400 or 1800-0000 start times

Shift tend to be 9-13 Hours.

Flexible working pattern weekends available.

ADHOC work available to suit.

Guaranteed a minimum of 45 hours per week.

The right candidates can run on a 5/6 work pattern if desired.

You must be able to pass an initial Day paid assessment; paper work part will include testing your knowledge on working time directive and there will also be a driving aspect to the assessment.

The right candidate will have an enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering 1st class customer service.

Desired Skills:

Driving License, Digi card and Drivers CPC Card

Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work.

Good Geographical Knowledge

Minimum of 6 Months experience Driving LGV1 in the UK.

Excellent communication skills.

Unfortunately, we cannot use any candidates with DR10 or CD10 on your license.

A maximum of 6 points on your license.

Ongoing, temporary and part-time shifts are available.

Must have 18 months experience on the class 1 and have excellent communication skills.
