Job summary

Driving Force Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing/ad-hoc work in Rugby. Roles include trunking and store deliveries with a maximum of 3 drops per shift to RDC nationwide. Shifts run across 7 days with AM/PM starts, and candidates must complete vehicle checks before deliveries.

Pay rates include Days, Nights, and Weekend premiums with PAYE and holiday pay option. Flexible patterns available Fri-Sun and ADHOC. DR10/CD10 exclusions and licence point limits apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience driving Class 1 in the UK.
• Good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude.
• DR10 or CD10 disqualifications are not accepted.
• Max 6 points on driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Operate a mix of trunking and store deliveries.
• Make up to 3 drops per shift to RDC nationwide.
• Perform vehicle checks before deliveries.

Driving Force Recruitment operating as an employment business are offering an excellent opportunity for HGV 1 Drivers to work for our award-winning client based in Rugby.

PAYE rates and an option with holiday pay

Days - £16.06 (£18.00)

Nights - £16.95 (£18.99)

Saturday - £19.63 (£21.99)

Sunday - £21.41 (£23.99)

Hours : approximately 10-12 hours per shift with a minimum of 8hrs

Job Role:

As a Class 1 Driver, your duties will be, but not limited to:

• Mixture of trunking and store deliveries
• Maximum of 3 drops per shift to RDC Nationwide
• Drivers will be responsible for all vehicle checks before deliveries

• Flexible working pattern and weekends available.
• ADHOC, Fri -Sun with additional days available
• The right candidates can work their desired pattern.

The right candidate will have an enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering 1st class customer service.

Desired Skills:

Driving License, Digi card and Drivers CPC Card

Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work.

Good Geographical Knowledge

Minimum of 6 months experience Driving class 1 in the UK.

Excellent communication skills.

Unfortunately, we cannot use any candidates with DR10 or CD10 on your license.

A maximum of 6 points on your licence.
