Job summary

Driving Force Recruitment Ltd are offering an opportunity for HGV 1 Day/Night Drivers to work for our Thornbury-based client (BS35). Role involves distributing frozen/chilled goods to local retailers, with 1–3 drops per shift and manual cage work.

Applicants must have 18+ months Class 1 experience, a valid C+E licence, Digi card and CPC, and a maximum of 6 points. Paid assessment will cover knowledge of Working Time Directive and driving tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months Class 1 experience required.
• Digi card and Driver CPC required.
• Valid C+E licence with max 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen/chilled produce to local retail stores.
• Manual handling (cage work) with 1–3 drops per shift.
• Pass initial paid assessment including Working Time Directive test.

Job : Class 1 Store Delivery

PAYE:£20.30 - £26.39 (Holiday accrued)

Overtime: 10% after 40 hours

Contract Type:Ongoing/ADHOC

Shifts: Days: Monday Sunday, 02:00 05:00 or 1400-1630 starts. 8 13 hour long runs

Driving Force Recruitment Ltd are currently offer an excellent opportunity for HGV 1 Day / night Drivers to work for our award-winning client based in Thornbury (BS35)

The job will be distributing frozen/chilled produce for a Major UK Retailer. All cage work so it will be a manual job however the drops are to local retail stores and youre looking at 1-3 Drops per shift.

You must be able to pass an initial Day paid assessment; paper work part will include testing your knowledge on working time directive and there will also be a driving aspect to the assessment.

Rates-

Monday Friday 06:00 18:00 £20.30
Monday Friday 18:00 06:00 £24.36
Monday Friday 12:00 onwards £24.36

Saturday and Sunday 06:00 18:00 £24.36
Saturday and Sunday 18:00 06:00 £26.39
Saturday and Sunday 12:00 onwards £26.39

Overtime:10% after 40 hours

The right candidate will have an enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering 1st class customer service.

Desired Skills:

Driving License, Digi card and Drivers CPC Card

Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work.

Good Geographical Knowledge

Minimum of 18 Months experience on C+E license.

Excellent communication skills.

Unfortunately, we cannot use any candidates with DR10 or CD10 on your license.

A maximum of 6 points on your license.

Ongoing, temporary and part-time shifts are available.
