Job summary

Cleansing Service Group Limited is actively seeking a professional HGV Class 1 driver to join our Sheffield operations. You will visit commercial/industrial sites for waste collections, perform vehicle checks, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while delivering excellent service to customers.

The role requires a Class 1 (C+E) licence, digi-card, CPC, ADR, and tanker experience. A flexible approach and strong customer service are essential; attractive benefits and a supportive employer

Qualifications

• A HGV Class 1 licence (C+E) licence.
• Possession of a Digi-card.
• Current CPC qualification.
• A valid ADR licence.
• Flexible approach to the role will be essential.
• Previous tanker experience essential.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collection of different types of hazards and non-Hazards liquid waste.
• Visiting commercial and industrial customer sites to complete waste collections.
• Carrying out vehicle and equipment checks and ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant legislation.
• Completing required paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Working closely with the transport depot and colleagues to ensure collections are completed efficiently and customers receive an excellent service.
• Carrying out some physical work, including manual handling and lifting equipment such as pipes.
• Participating in an on-call rota and responding to out-of-hours emergency work when required.
• Representing the company professionally when dealing with customers and members of the public.

Location: Based atSheffield

Salary: £15.65 - £16.10 hourly rate

Hours: 40 hour per week (plus overtime)

Role Type: Full time

• Time and a half after 40 hours
