Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting for an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver based in Milton Keynes. You will deliver parcels from site to customer, handling 250+ parcels per day, with manual handling requirements and load safety duties.

Long hours and UK-wide work are involved, with a clear hourly pay of £15.07. We require a valid HGV UK 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence, in-date CPC and Digi card, and the ability to work on highways in a physically demanding environment.

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for HGV 7.5 Tonne Drivers with their global logistics and supply chain company that operates both freight management and contract logistics. This is a opportunity with excellent earning potential and long-term prospects.

About the Role:

HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver - Main duties and requirements are:

• Managing the delivery process of parcels from site to customer
• Handling approximately 250+ parcels per day
• Manual handling via handball and sack barrows required
• Ensuring your load is safe and secure
• Completion of delivery device
• Must have 1 years experience
• Maximum 6 points accepted ( No DD/ DR/DG / BA/CD/TT99 offences)

Working Hours:

• Minimum 8 hours per day
• Minimum 10-12 hour shifts
• Day shifts are Monday to Friday

Pay:

• Standard rate of £15.07 per hour

What We're Looking For:

• Valid HGV UK 7.5 Tonne (Category C1) Licence
• In-date CPC and Digi card
• Comfortable working on highways and in physically demanding environments
