Job summary

Manpower is recruiting for a 7.5t Driver in Gloucester to join a leading UK logistics operation. You will safely operate 7.5t vehicles, manage planned delivery routes and ensure paperwork and records are accurate.

The role requires a C1 licence, Driver CPC and Tachograph Card, plus a year of 7.5t experience. You will work on varied shifts with an 8-hour guaranteed shift and full PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C1 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 1 year previous 7.5t driving experience in a logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 21 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
