Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is recruiting a reliable 7.5t Driver for Bristol, BS34 7ST. The role offers an hourly rate of £17.02–£26.99 with temporary, ongoing contract status and various shifts. You will join a respected logistics organisation delivering mail, parcels and freight across planned routes.

The position requires a valid UK C1 licence, Driver CPC and Tachograph card, plus 2 years 7.5t driving experience in logistics. Excellent time management and customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C1 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 5 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 2 years previous 7.5t driving experience within a logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Multiple drops per shift, depending on route assigned.
