Job summary

The Best Connection in Milton Keynes is actively recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a temp-to-perm position. You will manage delivery processes for car, bus or truck parts, with manual handling of cages and ensuring loads are secure and correctly documented.

We offer a structured role with 45+ hours weekly, night shifts available, and a standard rate of £18.00 per hour. CPC training, online payslips, pension options, and a comprehensive benefits package accompany ongoing work through 2026.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 licence (Category C+E).
• In-date CPC and Digi card.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery process from site to customer of car, bus or truck parts.
• Load handling and securing loads.
• Ensure loads are safe and secure for transit.
• Complete delivery documentation as required.

HGV Class 1 Drivers - Temp to Perm

Milton Keynes (UK-wide work required)

£18.00 per hour | Temp to Perm

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers with their global logistics and supply chain company that operates both freight management and contract logistics. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with excellent earning potential and long-term prospects.

About the Role

• Managing the delivery process from site to customer of car, bus or truck parts
• Manual handling of cages
• Ensuring your load is safe and secure
• Completion of delivery device
• Newly Passed accepted
• Maximum 6 points accepted ( No DD/ DR/DG / BA/CD/TT99 offences)

Working Hours

• Minimum 45 hours per week
• Minimum 10-12 hour shifts
• Night shifts are Monday to Friday, start time can vary between 20:00 and 22:00

Pay

• Standard rate of £18.00 per hour

What We're Looking For

• Valid HGV UK Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
• In-date CPC and Digi card
• Comfortable working on highways and in physically demanding environments
