Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver for Milton Keynes. You will manage deliveries from the depot to customers, handle household goods, and speak with customers prior to delivery. A valid UK 7.5 Tonne licence and CPC/digi card are required.

Shifts include early and late slots with weekend work. Pay starts at £15.33 per hour, with higher rates after 18:00. Ongoing work through 2026, weekly PAYE payslips, and a pension scheme are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV UK 7.5 Tonne (Category C1) licence.
• In-date CPC and digi card.
• Maximum 6 points on license accepted.

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for HGV 7.5 Tonne Drivers with their global logistics and supply chain company that operates both freight management and contract logistics. This is an on-going opportunity with excellent earning potential and long-term prospects.

About The Role:

HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver - Main Duties and requirements are:

• Managing the delivery process from depot to customers properties
• Manual handling of household goods
• Speaking with customers prior to delivery
• Ensuring your load is safe and secure
• Completion of delivery devices
• Maximum 6 points accepted (no DD/DR/DG/BA/CD/TT99 offences)

Working hours:

• AM shift will be Monday to Saturday 06:00-17:00
• PM shift will be Monday to Thursday 10:30-21:30, Friday 10:00-21:00 and Satrurday 07:00-18:00

Pay:

• £15.33 per hour between the hours of 06:00-18:00
• £18.58 per hour between the hours of 18:00-22:00.

What we're looking for:

• Valid HGV UK 7.5 Tonne (Category C1) licence
• In-date CPC and digi card
