Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is recruiting a 3.5T Van Driver in Milton Keynes to collect, transport and deliver parcels for a leading logistics operator. You will work day shifts with 10–12 hour shifts, load and secure parcels, and record collections via a company app.

Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points and no disqualifying endorsements. Overtime is paid after 40 hours, with regular weekly pay and pension options.

• No DD, DR, DG, BA, CD or TT99 endorsements accepted.

Responsibilities

• Collect parcels from commercial and residential locations on a designated route.
• Drive locally across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas.
• Complete approximately 20 stops per shift.
• Load and secure parcels within the vehicle.
• Use personal smartphone and delivery app to manage collections.
• Carry out vehicle checks and ensure compliance with procedures.

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for 3.5T Van Drivers on behalf of a leading parcel delivery and logistics operator, responsible for collecting, transporting and delivering thousands of consignments nationwide each day. This is an opportunity with excellent earning potential and long-term prospects.

About the Role:

3.5T Van Driver - Main duties and requirements are:

• Collecting parcels from both commercial and residential locations on a designated route
• Drivers to use their own phone device and download delivery/collection app
• Completing approx 20 stops per shift (subject to route requirements)
• Loading and securing collected parcels safely within the vehicle
• Drivers must use their own smartphone and download the delivery/collection app to manage and record collections
• Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with company procedures
• Must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• No DD, DR, DG, BA, CD or TT99 endorsements accepted

This is a physically active role involving regular lifting and handling of parcels throughout the shift.

Working Hours:

• Minimum 10-12 hour shifts
• Day shifts Monday to Friday

Pay:

• Standard rate of £13.00 per hour
• Overtime rate of £19.50 per hour after 40 hours

What We're Looking For:

• Valid 3.5t entitlement (Category B) Licence
• Confident driving on local roads and navigating collection routes across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas
