The Best Connection is recruiting for 3.5T Van Drivers in Milton Keynes on behalf of a leading parcel delivery and logistics operator, responsible for collecting, transport and delivering thousands of consignments nationwide each day, using a smartphone app to manage deliveries. This role offers weekend and overtime opportunities and long-term prospects.

Working hours include 8-hour minimum shifts with day shifts Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Valid 3.5t entitlement (Category B) Licence.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• No DD, DR, DG, BA, CD or TT99 endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Collect parcels from commercial and residential locations on designated routes.
• Use your own phone and delivery app to manage collections and updates.
• Complete approx 20 stops per shift and load parcels securely.
• Provide excellent customer service at collection points.
• Carry out vehicle checks and comply with company procedures.

3.5 Tonne Van Drivers

£13.00 per hour | £19.50 OT after 40 hours

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for 3.5T Van Drivers on behalf of a leading parcel delivery and logistics operator, responsible for collecting, transporting and delivering thousands of consignments nationwide each day. This is an opportunity with excellent earning potential and long-term prospects.

About the Role:

3.5T Van Driver - Main duties and requirements are:

• Collecting parcels from both commercial and residential locations on a designated route
• Drivers to use their own phone device and download delivery/collection app
• Completing approx 20 stops per shift (subject to route requirements)
• Loading and securing collected parcels safely within the vehicle
• Providing excellent customer service at collection points
• Drivers must use their own smartphone and download the delivery/collection app to manage and record collections
• Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with company procedures
• Must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• No DD, DR, DG, BA, CD or TT99 endorsements accepted

This is a physically active role involving regular lifting and handling of parcels throughout the shift.

Working Hours:

• Minimum 8 hours per day
• Minimum 10-12 hour shifts
• Day shifts Monday to Friday

Pay:

• Standard rate of £13.00 per hour
• Overtime rate of £19.50 per hour after 40 hours

What We're Looking For:

• Valid 3.5t entitlement (Category B) Licence
• Confident driving on local roads and navigating collection routes across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas
