Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd are supporting a leading recycling specialist near Market Harborough, recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers. You will join a small crew of loaders, work Tuesday to Friday, 06:30 start, around 40 hours across four days, with 3 day weekends and regular pattern.

The role offers a temporary contract with a view to permanent, paying £15.17 per hour plus holiday accrual. Candidates must hold a Cat C HGV licence, Digi and CPC cards, and be a strong team player ready for immediate start.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving licence with cat C (HGV Class 2).
• Digi and CPC card.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Be available for an immediate start.
• Excellent communication skills and customer-facing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive with a team of loaders to collect recycling and bulk materials.
• Deliver loads to the relevant depot as required.

We are pleased to be supporting our client who are a leading recycling specialist in the Leicestershire area. They are looking for HGV Class 2 drivers to support their operation, going out with a crew of loaders, you will collect general and bulk recycling locally before taking it to the relevant depot.

You will be a professional driver who is an excellent team player willing to go above and beyond to get the job done.

New Pass Drivers will be considered.

This position offers a genuine opportunity to gain a permanent contract with the end client.

Hourly Rate: This driving role pays a competitive £15.17 per hour. Holiday pay is accrued up to 28 days per year, pro rata.

Working Hours: You will work Tuesday to Friday each week from 06:30am. Finish times will vary depending on where you are going that day, but you can expect to work around 40 hours during the 4 days.
