Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is advertising for an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver in Derbyshire with early starts and a 40-hour week. The role is out on set routes with a team of loaders, Monday to Friday, 05:30–13:30/14:00, with temp-to-perm progression and an open-ended opportunity after probation.

Initial pay is £14.50 per hour for the first 12 weeks, rising to £15.67, plus overtime rates and up to 28 days holiday pro rata.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence.
• A HGV Class C Entitlement.
• A valid CPC card.
• At least 12 months commercial driving experience.
• Maximum of 3 points on your licence.

Responsibilities

• Drive a refuse truck on pre-set Derbyshire routes with loaders.
• Maintain community bin emptying by following routes.
• Adhere to safety and driving regulations during shifts.

Lookj no further, this is the position for you.

Immediate starts, Temp to perm, 40 hours per week.

You will be out driving a refuse truck around Derbyshire, and out with a team of loaders.

Collecting from set routes, you will be out with the team ensuring that the community keeps their bins empty.

Previous refuse experience is not essential, but licence needs to be held for a minimum of 1 year.

Duration: Temp to perm position, offering you stability in a position.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: The first 12 weeks you will earn £14.50 for the first 8 hours and £21.75 per hour after 8 hours and for Saturday.After 12 weeks you will see an increase to £15.67 per hour for the first 8 hours and to £23.56 per hour after 8 hours and on Saturday.You accrue up to 28 days holiday per year (pro rata).Please not we do not accept visa sponsorships.
