Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 refuse driver for a temporary, full-time role covering routes in the Sheffield area. You will operate a Class 2 vehicle with loaders, following established routes from early morning for around 10 hours per shift.

The position requires a UK HGV Class 2 licence, a valid Digital Tachograph card, and CPC card, with at least 1 year of Class 2 experience. The role starts early and offers up to 28 days of annual leave and no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 UK driving licence is mandatory.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• CPC Card required.
• Minimum of 1 year UK Class 2 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 refuse vehicle on routes around the Sheffield area as part of a Loader team.
• Occasionally assist with loading; handball should be minimal.
• Follow company routing and safety procedures on a full-time, ongoing basis.

Job Description

HGV Class 2 refuse drivers required to work for client based in the amber valley area. The company is one of the UK’s largest waste recycling operations; in both the commercial and residential sectors. The role itself will require you to follow a route in the Sheffield area, in a Class 2 vehicle with a team of loaders. Due to the nature of the work, you may be required to occasionally assist with loading; however, handball will be minimal.

Duration: This is a full time, on-going role.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: The rate of pay for this role will be £16.50 per hour. You may accrue up to 28 days annual leave.We do not offer visa sponsorships.

Working Hours: This role is starting at 6.30am daily and for around a 10-hour day
