Job summary

Grafters Recruit Ltd are looking for multiple committed Home delivery HGV 2 drivers to deliver furniture for IKEA, either individually or with a Driver’s Mate. The role emphasizes excellent customer service and safe, timely deliveries in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Ensure stock is secured and delivered safely to customers.
• Provide a first-class customer service experience during delivery.

Grafters Recruit are Looking for multiple committed Home delivery HGV 2 drivers delivering furniture for IKEA individually or alongside a Drivers Mate who will assist in the lifting and shifting of items. Customer service will be at the heart of this role, creating a better every day!.

DUTIES INCLUDE

• Driving a HGV 2 in a safe manner, complying with all road traffic, and vehicle legislation
• Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects
• Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly always secured and delivered in a safe manner
• Always providing a first-class customer service experience

REQUIREMENTS

• This is a physically demanding role including lifting and shifting - essential that you are physically able to lift items
• Valid in-date driving license manual licence
• No more than 6 points on driving license
• Previous experience in a multi drop role would be advantageous but not essential
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
• DBS security check will be completed on the successful candidate
