Job summary

Grafters Recruit Ltd are seeking multiple committed HGV 1 Night Drivers to work on an ongoing contract in Sittingbourne. You will be responsible for safely delivering to multiple destinations with tail lift operations, starting in the evening.

The role offers £20–£22.50 per hour, with on-site parking, pension after 3 months, and potential for a full-time position. No loading or unloading required; a full UK licence with Digi & CPC is essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK Licence with valid Digi & CPC Card.
• Minimum 6 months experience.
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences.
• Ability to operate a range of trailers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver between 2–3 destinations with tail lift operations to RDCs.
• Operate in a night shift with start times 17:00–20:00 Thursday to Sunday.
• Ensure safe driving and compliance with road transport regulations.

DUTIES

My client specialises in food distribution locally, you will be expected to safely deliver between 2 - 3 destinations with tail lift operations to RDC's. Start times will vary between 17.00 – 20:00 Thursday - Sunday Pay Rate - HGV1 Driver £20 – 22.50 p/h Monday - Sunday

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Full UK Licence with valid Digi & CPC Card
• Minimum 6 months experience
• Good level of communication
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences
• Ability to operate a range of trailers
