Job summary

Grafters Recruit Ltd are seeking multiple Home delivery Van drivers in Dartford to deliver IKEA furniture. You may work solo or alongside a Driver's Mate who assists with lifting and shifting.

Responsibilities include driving a 3.5 tonne van, performing checks, securing stock and delivering with outstanding customer service. A manual license with up to 6 points is required, with ability to lift items; benefits include pension, parking, discounts and potential full-time placement.

Qualifications

• Valid in-date manual driving license.
• No more than 6 points on license.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5 tonne van safely and legally.
• Perform pre- and post-journey vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure stock is secured and delivered safely.
• Provide a first-class customer service experience.

Job description

Grafters Recruit are Looking for multiple committed Home delivery Van drivers in Dartford delivering furniture for IKEA individually or alongside a Drivers Mate who will assist in the lifting and shifting of items. Customer service will be at the heart of this role, creating a better every day!.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Driving a 3.5 Tonne Van in a safe manner, complying with all road traffic, and vehicle legislation
• Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects
• Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly always secured and delivered in a safe manner
• Always providing a first-class customer service experience

REQUIREMENTS:

• This is a physically demanding role including lifting and shifting - essential that you are physically able to lift items
• Valid in-date driving license manual licence
• No more than 6 points on driving license
• Previous experience in a multi drop role would be advantageous but not essential
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
• DBS security check will be completed on the successful candidate
