Job summary

Grafters Recruit Ltd in Basildon is seeking experienced HGV 1 drivers for store delivery work across a 24/7 operation. Shifts run from 04:00 to 20:00 on a Tue–Sat or Fri–Tue rota, with 3–5 store deliveries per shift and some light physical work.

We offer £19.30–£31.14 per hour, free on-site parking, a company pension after 3 months, and ongoing work in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV 1 licence held for at least 6 months.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Driver CPC qualified.
• Digi Tacho Card.
• Geographic knowledge.
• Positive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries: 3–5 store deliveries per shift.
• Shifts range from 04:00 to 20:00, with a 24/7 operating client and rota options (Tue–Sat or Fri–Tue).
• Light to moderate physical work.

Grafters recruit are looking for experienced HGV 1 drivers for store delivery work based in Basildon

DUTIES:

• My client is a 24/7 operating client so multiple shifts and schedules are available ranging from days to start times.
• preferable shifts are will however be in the range of 0400- 20.00 starts on either a Tuesday - Saturday or Friday - Tuesday Rota
• You will have 3 / 5 store deliveries a shift
• Small element of physical work

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• You will need to pass an onsite Assessment and Induction
• Valid HGV 1 licence, held for 6 months minimum
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence
• Driver CPC qualified
• Digi Tacho Card
• A Good HGV 1 Geographic knowledge
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Excellent communication skills
