The Georgian Group, a heritage charity, seeks a dependable Facilities & Operations Manager to take ownership of its Grade I listed headquarters at 6 Fitzroy Square. The role combines a small core schedule with a flexible pool of hours to support events, maintenance, and site safety in a historic setting.

You will be the keyholder, coordinate with contractors, monitor supplies, oversee health & safety and building maintenance, and support room setup for lectures and venue hires with high autonomy.

Competenze

• Demonstrated experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or property management.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and compliance standards relevant to public buildings and workplaces.
• Strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple projects, schedules, and maintenance programs.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with staff, contractors, and external partners.
• Proficiency in using office software and basic facilities management systems for record-keeping, reporting, and budgeting.
• Experience managing facilities-related budgets, monitoring costs, and obtaining value for money from suppliers.
