Job summary

National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty is seeking a Facilities Assistant / Handy Person to help keep Little Moreton Hall in excellent condition. You will handle cleaning, light maintenance and some manual work, ensuring spaces remain welcoming for visitors.

The role offers 15 hours per week on a permanent contract, with weekend and bank holiday work. Training and an online assessment are part of the application process.

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning and minor maintenance tasks.
• Comfortable using tools and equipment.
• Able to work across 3/4 days per week, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day presentation of National Trust buildings and outdoor spaces.
• Clean drains/gutters, paint and perform repairs.
• Unloading deliveries and moving outdoor furniture.
• Clean, sweep and litter-pick inside and outside; provide good customer service.
