Job summary

Industrious Recruitment is seeking an experienced ICS Manager to lead a specialist team delivering major diagnostic solutions across the UK and Ireland. You will oversee the tender lifecycle, engage pathology networks and NHS Trusts, and guide technical and commercial support throughout pre-tender to post-tender activities.

The role involves product lifecycle management, new product launches, and coaching the ICS team to build technical expertise and market insights.

Qualifications

• FIBMS or MSc in Biomedical Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge in haematology and coagulation.
• Experience with tenders, bids or procurement in healthcare/diagnostics.
• Understanding UK/Ireland procurement and tendering environments.
• Proven experience leading, coaching and developing a team.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to work with sales and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ICS team across pre-tender and tender lifecycle.
• Build relationships with pathology networks, NHS Trusts, corporate organisations and partner suppliers.
• Support major tender opportunities and the development of high‑quality technical proposals.
• Deliver and oversee customer presentations, demonstrations, site visits and workflow assessments.
• Lead workflow and efficiency studies to demonstrate customer value.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product and leadership to support business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement through tender reviews and lessons learned.
• Support product launches, enhancements and lifecycle management.
• Coach, mentor and develop the ICS team.
• Build technical and commercial capability within the team.
