NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We are offering two permanent positions: one full-time (37 hours) and one part-time (26 hours, salary pro-rata). The shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 08:30-16:30.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Health Care Support Worker to join the midwifery team at GG&C. Under the supervision of a Senior Charge Midwife, the HCSW will ensure a high-quality, safe, and supportive environment for patients within the Women & Children’s Directorate.
The role involves assisting in delivering personalized care plans tailored to the needs of women and their families, supporting the midwifery team in providing the highest level of care while adhering to all relevant policies including Health & Safety, Data Protection, and Confidentiality.
Excellent communication and documentation skills are essential. The candidate should be able to work well within a team, providing clerical and administrative support as needed.
