Job Title: Health Care Support Worker - Midwifery Team

Positions Available

1. One full-time position, 37 hours/week
2. One part-time position, 26 hours/week (Pro Rata salary)

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:30

Role Overview

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Health Care Support Worker to join the midwifery team at GG&C. Under the supervision of a Senior Charge Midwife, the HCSW will provide high-quality, safe, and supportive care to patients within the Women & Children’s Directorate.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering personalized care plans tailored to women and their families' needs.
• Support the midwifery team in providing the highest level of care, adhering to NHS policies, health and safety regulations, data protection, and confidentiality standards.
• Provide clerical and administrative support as needed, demonstrating excellent communication and documentation skills.
