Circle Integrated Care in Bedford is recruiting a Quality and Risk Manager to lead hospital quality and governance and ensure safe, high‑quality patient care. The role is full‑time (37.5 hours) with a salary up to £50,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

You will prepare for CQC/HIS/HIW inspections, coordinate responses, manage incidents and RCA investigations, and drive improvements across teams in line with national standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the healthcare industry, with a background in governance or risk management.
• Strong knowledge of clinical governance, CQC/HIS/HIW standards, and national quality frameworks.
• Experience conducting complex investigations, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present and educate confidently.
• Proven ability to facilitate change, lead projects, and work collaboratively across teams.
• Relevant health-related qualification and evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Strong data analysis and report-writing skills with an eye for identifying trends and driving improvement.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate hospital quality and governance functions to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Prepare for CQC/HIS/HIW inspections and implement proactive improvements.
• Coordinate responses and action plans after inspections and audits.
• Ensure incidents and complaints are logged and closed per policy timeframes.
• Support incident investigations, including RCA, and share outcomes.
