Job summary

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 4 Painter & Decorator to deliver painting and decorating across the Trust's healthcare estate, undertaking preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and lifecycle works to keep environments safe and well-presented.

You will work from drawings and specifications, apply healthcare coatings, work at height with approved access, and support apprentices while maintaining COSHH and infection control.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in painting and decorating.
• Experience delivering finishes to healthcare environments.
• Ability to work from drawings and specs with minimal supervision.
• Aware of COSHH and infection control practices.
• Able to work at height using approved access equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out painting and decorating work across hospital sites.
• Prepare surfaces and carry out minor repairs.
• Follow drawings and specifications to required standards.
• Promote high standards of workmanship and patient care.
• Support development of apprentices and trainees.
