Job summary

Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to deliver high-quality painting and decorating across the Trust’s estate, both internal and external. You will plan, survey, estimate, order materials and prepare sites to minimise disruption for patients and staff.

You will also carry out repairs, reinstate fixtures and fittings, maintain records using Trust electronic systems and PDA devices, and work safely in accordance with health and safety policies and

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering painting and decorating services to a large estate.
• Ability to plan and survey work from initial instruction through to completion.
• Competent in estimating, material ordering and site preparation.

Responsibilities

• Provide painting and decorating services across the Trust’s internal and external areas.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain stock levels and update records using electronic systems and PDA devices.
• Ensure work complies with Health, Safety, COSHH, PUWER and Working at Height requirements.
