Job summary

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a diligent housekeeping operative to maintain cleanliness across site, following SOPs and infection control procedures. You will join the Facilities team to ensure high standards throughout patient areas and public spaces.

Across duties include assisting in the central laundry, preparing accommodation for guests and staff, and supporting the Housekeeping Supervisor with daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in general housekeeping and cleaning operations.
• Ability to follow infection control procedures and SOPs.
• Willingness to work across housekeeping and laundry tasks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning tasks across allocated buildings and rooms.
• Report faults to Facilities Helpdesk and assist in laundry processing.
• Support accommodation preparation for guests and staff and conduct changeover checks.
• Attend mandatory training and team meetings.
