The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust seeks a dedicated cleaning operative to join the Facilities Services Team in Community Hospitals. You will perform a range of cleaning tasks to maintain a hygienic environment for patients, staff and visitors, following NHS standards and infection control policies and respecting patient privacy at all times.

You will work to a rotating ward schedule, restock hand sanitisers and supplies, empty waste, clean rooms and communal areas, and

Qualifications

• Role involves cleaning duties in NHS facilities and adherence to infection control policies.
• Ability to follow schedules and maintain high hygiene standards.
• Respect patient privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times.

Responsabilités

• Complete daily cleaning of bays, side rooms, nurses' station as per schedule.
• Replenish gels, soap, paper towels, and PPE as required.
• Empty/reline waste bins and maintain waste disposal in line with regulations.
• Clean internal glass, vacuum carpeted areas, mop hard floors.
• Carry out routine cleaning in line with ward policies.
