Job summary

Equans is seeking a Facilities Team Leader for New Victoria Hospital, Glasgow, on a permanent basis. The role is full-time (37.5 hours/week) with a competitive salary and strong benefits.

You will lead site teams and contractors, ensuring compliance, client relationships and coordination of operations across the hospital. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the role emphasizes governance, continuous improvement and high standards of safety and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Technical leadership experience in facilities management
• Exposure to healthcare environments preferred
• Strong knowledge of HTMs/SHTMs and statutory standards

Responsibilities

• Lead site frontline team; manage in-house and contractor delivery
• Recruitment, induction, performance reviews and training
• Oversee safe work practices and health & safety compliance
• Provide monthly maintenance and KPI reports; support contract performance
• Escalate issues and participate in out-of-hours cover
