Job summary

EQUANS is seeking a Facilities Team Leader for the New Victoria Hospital, Glasgow, to lead on-site maintenance and technical services in a healthcare setting. The role involves managing in-house teams and contractors, ensuring compliance, and delivering value within SLAs and budgets.

You will report to the Technical Services Manager, lead recruitment and development of frontline staff, and coordinate with NHS clients and suppliers while maintaining Health & Safety standards and driving

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in facilities management or technical services.
• Strong knowledge of HTMs and SHTMs.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams and budgets.
• Willingness to participate in out-of-hours escalations.
• Relevant electrical/mechanical/building services background.
• Disclosure Scotland PVG clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead site frontline team to maximise potential and service excellence.
• Direct day-to-day service delivery for maintenance within SLAs and budgets.
• Manage recruitment, induction, performance reviews and training.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment aligned with EQUANS values.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, NHS clients and staff.
• Support Technical Services Manager in contract delivery and commercial performance.
• Promote continuous improvement and share best practices.
• Provide timely monthly reports on maintenance activities and KPIs.
• Assist with health & safety plans, risk assessments and statutory compliance.
• Build robust relationships with stakeholders and act as on-site technical lead.
