Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Facilities Services Assistant – Support Lead for the Honiton community. You will ensure cleaning across wards and sanitary areas, replenish hand hygiene supplies, and support waste and laundry processes while following national NHS cleanliness standards.

The role involves assisting with stock, mail, and routine administrative tasks, plus acting as a day-to-day point of contact for assistants on shift.

Responsibilities

• Clean wards and sanitary areas including toilets, bathrooms, showers and sluice rooms according to the daily work schedule.
• Perform daily and weekly cleaning of patient equipment and bays, nurse stations, and other designated areas.
• Assist with stock control, mail delivery, waste disposal, linen distribution, laundry tasks and routine documentation.
