Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Facilities Cleaner to join the wards cleaning team. You will perform general environmental cleaning across wards, including toilets, showers, and patient equipment while maintaining high hygiene standards and patient privacy.

The role requires adherence to infection control policies and NHS cleanliness guidelines. Responsibilities include daily and weekly cleaning tasks, restocking supplies, waste management, and supporting meal

Responsabilidades

• Complete the daily cleaning of bays and side rooms, nurses’ station and other areas on a designated ward area according to the daily work schedule.
• Clean and dry sanitary areas including WCs, wash basins, baths, showers, sinks and sluices.
• Vacuum clean carpeted floors and mop hard floor surfaces to remove dust, dirt and grit.
• Ensure replenishment of alcohol gel, hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, aprons and gloves to maintain hand hygiene.
• Distribute linen to wards and manage laundry duties as required.
• Carry out routine cleaning duties and participate in ward policies and procedures.
