Job summary

Equans is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team at Midland Metropolitan University Hospital (MMUH) in Smethwick. This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, with a competitive salary and benefits.

You will respond to reactive maintenance, diagnose faults and repair complex electrical systems, obtain Competent Person status for LV, access control, alarms and medical gas installations, and perform Planned Preventative Maintenance across the site. A DBS check is required.

Qualifications

Recognised apprenticeship in relevant engineering discipline.
City & Guilds levels 2 and 3.
AM2 and 18th Edition wiring regulations.

Responsibilities

Respond to reactive maintenance to diagnose faults and repair complex electrical systems.
Obtain Competent Person status for LV, access control, alarms and medical gas installations.
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) across site.
Minimise penalties by timely maintenance in line with contract requirements.
Assist in minor installation works.
