Job summary

Equans is looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our team based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week with Monday - Thursday 12pm - 10pm and 3 days off.

A competitive salary and benefits package is on offer. We are seeking a skilled Electrician who also brings experience in Mechanical or Fabric disciplines to join the team and deliver maintenance across NHS Trust facilities.

Qualifications

• Approved electrical apprenticeship with base qualifications.
• C&G Part A & B and City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382-18).
• AM2/JIB Gold Card holder.
• A valid driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake improvement work, maintenance and repairs of electrical and non-complex mechanical plant, services and assets including testing and fault finding.
• Responsibilities mainly at the Acute Hospital, with duties at Mental Health unit and Retained Estate as required by Estates management.
• Carry out all works in compliance with EQUANS KPI’s and contract.
• Maintain lighting systems and electrical infrastructure; conduct RCD testing and theatre shutdown procedures.
• Support maintenance across Mechanical and Fabric disciplines; report defects to Supervisor.
