Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Facilities Assistant (Domestic) to join the Facilities team at Stansfield Place, Rochdale. The role involves delivering cleaning services across inpatient, ward, and clinical areas in line with NHS standards and local procedures.

You will work as part of a responsive domestic team, adhering to COSHH, infection control, and health & safety policies, with mandatory training. Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering cleaning services in healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of infection control and health & safety procedures.
• Familiarity with NHS national cleaning standards and colour coding.

Responsibilities

• Clean in clinical, sanitary and administration areas as per schedules and standards.
• Follow infection control, COSHH and safety procedures.
• Report incidents/near misses and equipment defects to supervisor.
• Attend mandatory and other trainings as required.
• Work as part of the cleaning team and carry out additional duties as needed.
