Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust in Rochdale is recruiting a Facilities Assistant (Domestic) to provide a reliable cleaning service across Birch Hill Hospital. The role covers clinical, sanitary and administration areas, following infection control procedures and Trust policies.

It is a 22.5-hour per week post within the Facilities team, with training and a supportive workplace. Experience delivering cleaning services and knowledge of NHS cleaning standards are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering cleaning services.
• Knowledge of infection control and health and safety procedures.
• Able to follow cleaning schedules and work as part of a team.
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning services across clinical, sanitary and administration areas.
• Follow Trust policies, national standards and local instructions.
• Report incidents, store equipment safely and dispose of waste correctly.
• Attend mandatory training including infection control and moving and handling.
