Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust in Rochdale is hiring a Facilities Assistant (Domestic) on a part-time basis (25 hours per week) to support cleaning across in-patient and community settings.

You will follow cleaning schedules, maintain infection control and health and safety standards, and work as part of the facilities team providing a reliable cleaning service.

A NVQ2 or equivalent is expected; sponsorship is not offered; the role requires right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering cleaning services.
• Knowledge of COSHH and health and safety procedures.
• Experience cleaning in healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties in clinical, sanitary and administration areas.
• Follow cleaning schedules to achieve required cleanliness levels.
• Ensure infection control, COSHH and health and safety procedures are followed.
• Report incidents or near misses as per Trust policy.
• Store cleaning equipment safely and report defects.
• Attend mandatory training (fire safety, moving and handling, infection control).
• Work as part of a team and on occasion alone.
