Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust at Birch Hill Hospital, Rochdale, is seeking a Facilities Assistant (Domestic) on a part-time basis (22.5 hours per week). The role provides a comprehensive cleaning service across wards, clinics and admin areas, aligned with Trust policies.

Ideal candidates will have NVQ 2 or equivalent and experience delivering cleaning services in healthcare, with knowledge of COSHH, NHS cleaning standards and colour coding.

Qualificações

• Experience delivering cleaning services in healthcare settings.
• Experience following COSHH and health and safety procedures.
• Experience applying NHS national cleaning standards.
• Knowledge of NHS colour coding in cleaning.
• Experience working in a mental-health NHS Trust.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out general cleaning duties across clinical, sanitary and administration areas.
• Follow cleaning schedules and instructions to maintain cleanliness.
• Ensure infection control and health and safety procedures are followed.
• Report incidents and near misses per Trust policy.
• Attend mandatory training including fire safety and moving and handling.
• Work as part of the facilities team across ward, clinic or admin areas.

Formação académica
