Job summary

Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital is seeking a Healthcare Assistant in Outpatients on a bank, ad hoc basis, including evenings and weekends. You will support Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Neurosurgery, Plastics, ENT, Cardiology, GP Services, Psychiatry and Physiotherapy, assisting with dressings and wound care as required.

Applicants will have SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care and relevant experience in acute care.

Qualifications

• Qualified with SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care.
• Experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
• Flexible approach to duties and hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist colleagues in Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Neurosurgery, Plastics Surgery, ENT, Cardiology, GP Services, Psychiatry and Physiotherapy.
• Manage a wide range of activities and changing priorities.
• Ensure day-to-day operations of clinics run smoothly.
• Assist consultants and nurses with procedures, such as dressings and wound care.
