Job summary

Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital is seeking a Patient Service Administrator to support reception and ensure patients move smoothly to the right areas.

You will answer calls, book appointments, welcome patients, and help with clinical paperwork, while using your communication and IT skills to explain information clearly.

The part-time role offers a pro rata salary of £25,545 per annum depending on experience, with shifts from Monday to Saturday 6:30am–9:30pm and Sunday 8am–8pm.

Qualifications

• Great communication, IT and keyboard skills.
• Experience of working in healthcare administration or on reception is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help people feel comfortable when they visit your department
• Use your empathy and customer service skills to build positive relationships
• Answer the phone, deal with enquiries and book appointments
• Welcome patients in person, directing them to the appropriate changing or waiting rooms
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure the department runs smoothly
• Prepare clinical paperwork, referral forms, charge sheets, and terms and conditions

Glasgow Hospital | Reception | Permanent | Part Time | Monday - Sunday Shifts

15 hours per week

Shifts: Monday - Saturday between 6:30am-9:30pm & Sunday 8am-8pm

As a Patient Service Admin at our Glasgow Hospital, you'll have great communication, IT and keyboard skills. You're also able to explain sensitive or complicated information in a way that's clear, sympathetic and easy to understand. Ideally, you have experience of working in healthcare administration or on reception.
