Nursing Direct Limited is seeking Healthcare Assistants to support young females with complex emotional and developmental needs in Pulborough and surrounding West Sussex. This role focuses on compassionate one-to-one care in the client’s home and community activities.

Applicants should have experience with ASD, depression, anxiety, self-harming behaviours, plus Enhanced DBS and safeguarding training. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred for community support.

• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport.
• Enhanced DBS and safeguarding training are required.

Nursing Direct is a specialist homecare provider delivering bespoke care and support to children and adults within their own homes across the UK. We are currently seeking young, energetic and engaging Healthcare Assistants to support young females with complex emotional and developmental needs in Pulborough and the surrounding West Sussex area.

The role involves providing compassionate one-to-one care and support to young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), depression, anxiety and self-harming behaviours. Responsibilities include building trusting relationships, supporting community activities and appointments, encouraging participation in wellbeing activities, promoting independence and maintaining clear and consistent boundaries in a kind and supportive manner.

Applicants should have experience supporting young people with ASD, learning difficulties, depression, suicidal ideation or self-harm, along with strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport. An Enhanced DBS, relevant safeguarding training and experience managing challenging emotional behaviours are required. A full clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are also preferred for supporting community activities.
