Job summary

Nursing Direct Limited is seeking Healthcare Assistants to support young females with complex emotional and developmental needs in Pulborough and surrounding West Sussex. This role focuses on compassionate one-to-one care in the client’s home and community activities.

Applicants should have experience with ASD, depression, anxiety, self-harming behaviours, plus Enhanced DBS and safeguarding training. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred for community support.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with ASD, learning difficulties, depression, suicidal ideation or self-harm.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport.
• Enhanced DBS and safeguarding training are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate one-to-one care in the young person’s home.
• Support participation in community activities and appointments.
• Encourage involvement in wellbeing activities and promote independence.
• Maintain clear and consistent boundaries in a kind and supportive manner.
