Job summary

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Community Nursery Nurse to join our Health Visiting Team in Gloucestershire. This permanent, part-time role (28 hours per week) sits within the 0-19 service and contributes to delivering the Healthy Child Programme.

You will work alongside Health Visitors and Public Health Nurses, with supervision and development opportunities, and the role includes safeguarding responsibilities and ensuring data protection compliance.

Qualifications

• Understanding of normal child development.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Ability to identify a child displaying developmental delay.

Responsibilities

• Deliver elements of the Healthy Child programme (2009) including the 6 High Impact Areas.
• Work in hubs and deliver health promotion as part of the HCP.
• Ensure compliance with data protection legislation.
• Safeguarding responsibilities for adults and children as per legislation.
• Collaborate with team members and external agencies to provide holistic care.
