Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time School and Community Health Practitioner based in Cheltenham. The role supports the School Nursing Service with 22.5 hours per week, delivering public health interventions and parenting programme training within the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme.

You will work with the School Nursing Team, deliver delegated components, monitor quality and provide advice to children, families and groups in community settings.

Qualifications

• Registered practitioner to conduct initial assessments.
• Deliver public health promotion advice to children and families.
• Experience with 0-19 Healthy Child Programme is desirable.
• Ability to work with children, families and young people.

Responsabilités

• Deliver delegated components of the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme.
• Provide training in Togetherness Parenting (formerly Solihull Parenting Programme).
• Support School and Community Health Facilitators and act as expert.
• Deliver interventions for children, families and young people using clinical judgement.
