Job summary

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a part-time Public Health Nurse to work with the Dursley Health Visiting Team in Stroud Locality. You will support families with 0-19 health needs, liaising across multi-agency teams and contributing to the Healthy Child Programme.

We welcome applications from newly qualified nurses and will involve you in preceptorship and multi-professional development.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified nurses are welcome.
• Supports SEND and Early Years in community settings.
• Requires supervision by SCPHN-Health Visitor under GHC protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement programmes of care from the Healthy Child Programme, in collaboration with the SCPHN-Health Visitor.
• Progress the level of intervention as identified risk factors may require to improve child health outcomes.
• Provide leadership and represent the nursing profession values within the GHC framework.
